Here’s the low-down: GMP development took a back seat in the last half of 2009. The truth is, I joined a great company back in June and got too busy to work on the engine. Work is now in balance, and I’ve been back digging at the internals of the engine, my games, tools, and, of course, documentation.
I’m always tinkering with my own little game clones, but lately I’ve been interested in creating some nice little DHTML WYSIWYG tools to help with game development.
As well, …
The GMP API documentation pages got a small facelift, and you can now expand and collapse variable and method definitions with a quick click.
Simply click the variable/method title bar to toggle to the view of the single item, or click the expand/collapse links to apply the change to all items in the section.
This this should make the API a little easier to read. Enjoy!
GMP has been been upgraded to version 1.7.3, and is available now on the downloads page.
This new release adds the G.deleteGob method. Thanks to Ray for noticing that the method was missing! New documentation for the method has been added to the API documentation as well.
Enjoy!
This site has had several major redesigns over the last few years, and darn it if I didn’t feel nostalgic for the dark backgrounds of yore.
Truth be told, games look better against the black background, and I just can’t resist a little web work. Hope you like it!
After updating Puckerball with new graphics, I decided to give Galaxoid some new sprites.
The old look was flying saucers. The new look is more pixelated like space invaders.
Hope you like it!
